Your data, clearly explained.

FusionAI is a trading name of Fusion Software Consulting ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains how we use personal information when you use fusionai.online, contact us or receive marketing from us.

Information we collect

We collect the information you give us, including your name, work email address, company, phone number and the content of your enquiry. We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects usage information such as pages viewed, device and browser information and approximate location derived from IP address.

We may also use AI-assisted research tools to identify publicly available professional information about prospective business customers, such as a name, job role, company and business contact details. We do not treat public availability as marketing consent. If we obtain your information indirectly, we will provide the required privacy information at the first contact or within the timeframe required by law.

How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and discuss our services.
• To protect, maintain and improve our website and services.
• To send marketing emails about FusionAI’s AI and automation services only where you have opted in or where another lawful basis and PECR rule permits this.
• To manage our customer and prospect relationships and meet legal obligations.

AI-assisted communications

We may use AI-assisted tools to help review enquiry themes, prepare relevant service information and draft marketing content. We do not use AI to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Please do not include special-category, highly confidential or unnecessary personal information in website forms. Where AI suppliers process personal information for us, they do so under appropriate contractual and security controls and only for our documented purposes.

Marketing emails

Our website marketing checkbox is optional and is not pre-selected. If you opt in, we record the email address, date, source and wording of your consent with your enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us. Every marketing email will identify FusionAI and include a simple way to opt out.

Lawful bases

We usually rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, operate and secure our website, manage our services and undertake proportionate B2B prospect research. We rely on consent for optional analytics cookies and, where required, email marketing. We assess the impact on individuals before relying on legitimate interests, and you may object at any time.

Who we share information with

We use carefully selected service providers to host the website, deliver email, manage enquiries, provide analytics (where accepted), protect our forms from spam and provide AI-assisted services. They act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users or systems. We do not sell personal information.

Spam protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our enquiry forms from spam and automated abuse. When Turnstile runs, Cloudflare processes limited technical signals, including your IP address, browser user-agent, TLS fingerprint, the site key and the website origin, to distinguish people from bots. This processing is necessary for the security of our forms and is based on our legitimate interests in protecting our website and communications.

Cloudflare processes these signals for us to provide Turnstile and also processes them as an independent controller to improve its bot-detection service. Turnstile may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies; it is not used for advertising or to track you across our site. More information is available in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

International transfers

Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or other lawful safeguard where required.

Retention

We normally keep enquiry records for up to 24 months after our last meaningful contact. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or we determine they are no longer accurate or relevant, and consent evidence may be retained for a reasonable period to demonstrate compliance. We may retain information longer where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or a copy of your personal information. You may object to direct marketing at any time. To exercise a right, contact us through the contact page. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

Necessary cookies or local storage may be used to remember your cookie preference, keep the website working and protect forms from spam. We only load Google Analytics after you accept analytics cookies. You can reject optional cookies without losing access to the site, or change your choice at any time.
